I just read an interesting piece of advice.
Background:
Someone was asking how to let go of something that is bothering you.
You know, when something replays itself over and over in your head like a bad movie.
This happens a lot to me.
I get so caught up in an incident that I end up playing out different scenarios in my mind.
This makes me even more frustrated and a bit angrier at the person(s) involved.
We might call this blowing it out of proportion.
These situations are completely avoidable if I could make my mind stop.
Anyway...The Advice:
Sometimes if you do something to help others; it will take your mind off of your own worries.
